That should enable configuration of your controller through Base Configurations and in-game configurations.
the only thing that seems working is a mosue. I install controller drivers on my mac via steam and it says this at the end it said ' Please click the 'Allow' button to Press J to jump to the feed.
I use logitech f310s and it doesn't recognise them eather. I don't get promped during the install unfortunatelly. Are you able to add controllers in the Big Picture controller settings? If you have the steam controller dongle plugged in when you start Steam and Big Picture it should recognize it in the controller settings and let you pair a controller. If not, does Steam ever prompt you to reinstall SteamInput? It should if it can't communicate with the driver properly.
However, installing this driver will allow you to use the controller via USB. Bluetooth capable Xbox One controllers (released after August 2016) are natively supported by macOS without the use of this driver.
